Intrigue
is a touring theatre company, based in Wiltshire, specialising in Murder
Mystery events.
Over the
course of a
weekend away, 3-course meal, simple supper, buffet, or just a drink,
whether in a large hotel, restaurant, village hall or someone’s front
room you get to watch as the Intrigue team become embroiled in the act
of murder!
During
the evening the audience gets to interact with the suspects, questioning
them on their motives, following up their lines of suspicion or if they
prefer simply sit back and watch as others do the work!
At the
end of the evening
the characters will return, reveal the intricacies of the plot and
announce the winners. The prize
for the winning team is the responsibility of the organiser, however we
would be happy to present it along with a signed Certificate from
Intrigue.
We
currently have over six scripts in operation to suit a wide variety of
tastes &
themed evenings. All our scripts are totally original and can be tailor made for our
clients. Our scripts are all under copyright so you can't see our
scenarios anywhere else. The company will all be in appropriate
costume - whether
you choose to follow suit is up to you!
A minimum
working area of approximately 10ft x 15ft is required although the
company will circulate amongst the guests during the drama and at
question time. Changing facilities are preferred - unisex are
acceptable. Should you wish to book the Roman or Medieval murder
mysteries we would require a table long enough to sit four characters
with sufficient space between each character for acting purposes.
The
Company appreciates a meal or light refreshments to be provided -
the Medieval or Roman murder mysteries work best with the actors eating
amongst the guests at their tables.
